The medical field in the United States is one of the best places to find employment right now. With the number of people needing health care services growing every day, experts predict it will stay that way for at least the next decade. One often overlooked fact is that many of the great careers in the medical profession only require a 2-year associate degree, and sometimes even less, to start working in an entry level position.
For example, none of the following four occupations require more than an associate degree to begin a career but have much faster than average job growth, excellent future job prospects, and are actually among the 20 fastest growing of all professions.
The following four professions also have faster than average job growth and good future job prospects while needing between 6 months and 2 years of training to start a career.
It is definitely worth looking at these growing medical careers for anyone considering working in the healthcare field.
